The big blocks in the New Dawn quilt were great fun to make. I I used linen for the background and love the different fabric textures. Jemima's patterns are always detailed and easy to follow.

When i was first learning to quilt I found it intimidating. This was one of the first patterns I purchased. Step by step instructions made the what seemed like a daunting task, very manageable. Love the big blocks. Displays both the classic block and the fabrics in a glorious way.
